Packing Tips

Organisation is key. When you are packing up your office or home, make a list of every room and which furniture belongs there. Then make notes of what goes into each box and label that box with the room name and a number.
On your list, you want to note that box label down and list what's in it. That way, when you need to find the coffee machine urgently - you'll know exactly which box it's hiding in.

There's a little hoarder in all of us and our homes or offices slowly accumulate things we don’t need.
Moving to a new space is a great way to say goodbye some of this stuff we no longer want or need.

During your move, you'll likely have some bits of furniture that require disassembly and that involves many loose pieces that can get lost.
There is nothing more stressful than having missing pieces - If you’ll be taking furniture apart, find some self-seal bags for keeping nuts and bolts together. You can even draw a small diagram or note down where the bolts went.
You can then attach these bags to the underside of the furniture with tape or store them in a safe place that you'll be able to find once it's time to put the furniture back together after the movers are done.

Use sturdy packing boxes particularly for heavier items or your belongings may end up strewn all over the driveway when the movers are loading them up.
Boxes made from corrugated cardboard are stronger than regular ones.
